The products presented on this website are the result of 24 years of focused efforts to create musical instruments and aids for the music education classroom with strong emphasis on helping the physically and developmentally challenged through music therapy. They are equally applicable in special education, occupational therapy, and elder care. Special effort has been devoted to those who are confined to wheelchairs.

The website is structured to present the products as clearly as possible. Our chime and rhythm instruments are self evident in their application. The same is true for our book holders and recorder storage units. However, our instrument holding devices take a little more study on your part, since their appearance is "out of the ordinary." They have not been created to look familiar or typical, but to serve a specific purpose and meet specific needs for those who cannot play a simple musical instrument in ordinary fashion like those who are not confronted with physical or mental conditions which add a layer of difficulty to "making music."

Any music education teacher confronted with mainstreaming students with disabilties will find our products very helpful. Those who are wheelchair bound can participate in classroom music with the assistance of our wheelchair tray instrument holders. Our Multi Instrument Holder is specifically designed to provde such assistance. More specific instrument holding can be found with our secure holding devices. Inclusion of disabled students is also enhanced with our pick assists for stringed instruments, and our adaptive mallets for drumming. Look at our grasping aids for those who are manually impaired. If you need asistance with inclusion, we are here to help.

The products on this site cannot be comprehended in the "blink of an eye." Understanding them will not happen in a few seconds of "surfing." Anyone who works with special needs persons knows that thinking about the "usual or normal" is less than productive. Efforts with such persons requires thinking outside the box of what is normal or typical. The same thing is true of our efforts.

You are encouraged to spend some time "looking around" to discover how things which often took months to design might benefit and enhance the efforts you make everyday to bring about inclusion. We have worked hard to be your partner to assist those who need an extra bit of help. We are your extra hand. We want to help turn setbacks and challenges into opportunities.
